摘要: The present experiment was designed to examine the effects of prenatal stress and gender in latent inhibition. Prenatal has been proposed as a risk factor both for depression schizophrenia, these syndromes are associated with alterations functional state dopamine system. There is also some evidence that can produce changes activity, although details stress-induced matter debate. Latent inhibition (LI), which strongly dependent on dopaminergic consists delayed Pavlovian conditioning about stimulus previously signalled no consequence. We induced by exposing gestating dams daily constraint during last week pregnancy. tested rats LI conditioned taste aversion them sucrose 3 days prior conditioning. Irrespective or gender, observed but degree varied function gender. Unstressed males showed less than unstressed females, increased amount only males. These results inconsistent use an animal model schizophrenia. A accounts relationships between function, cognitive psychiatric pathology.
