摘要: AbstractObjectivesTo explore the experiences of congenitally or early profoundly deafened candidates who receive cochlear implants as adults.MethodsEight implantees had received their adults were interviewed using a semi-structured interview technique. Interviews conducted in participant's preferred communication mode (oral/aural, Sign Supported English, British Language).ResultsAll participants reported benefit from implantation.
