摘要: Potassium homoeostasis in the heart was studied during atrial pacing 20 patients undergoing diagnostic coronary angiography. The potassium concentrations sinus and a systemic artery were recorded continuously by means of catheter tip electrodes. Ten with disease positive exercise test developed chest pain ST segment depression on electrocardiogram pacing. rose initially increased further when myocardial ischaemia developed. including five normal arteries remained symptom free no electrocardiographic changes. In these concentration at onset pacing, but returned to near control values despite continued both groups arterial constant. Immediately after end there an abrupt transient fall below values. These results indicate that man, as other species, increase rate causes movement out cell into extracellular space. is associated loss from cell. or accompanied re-uptake muscle.
