摘要: The genome sequence of Campylobacter jejuni NCTC11168 was analyzed in terms DNA structural properties (intrinsic curvature, base-stacking energy, and e exibility) throughout the chromosome. In addition, we calculated frequency repeats C. chromosomes from 25 other species class Proteobacteria. Compared with average, global are under- represented jejuni, whereas local overrepresented percentage palindromes exceeds that most pathogenic bacteria. These palindromic regions localized to known hypervariability. Furthermore, proportion purine pyrimidine/purine stretches observed both H. pylori (˜-subdivision Proteobacteria) is signie cantly greater than Pro- teobacteria subdivisions correlates high potential for recombination these two species. rst half (e.g., direction sense strand le) contains three RNA operons. contrast, several coding surface structure genes, including lipo-oligosaccharide (LOS), polysaccharide capsular antigens, agellin agellar modie cation. parameters well-characterized genes gene clusters correlate current knowledge their expression, stability, recombina- tion potential.
