摘要: A new method is described for curving a circular quartz lamina to give point-focusing monochromator X-rays. This has been used in an apparatus studying small-angle scattering of The distance between the specimen and focus can be varied continuously, maximum being 850 mm. recording scattered intensity made either photographically or by means annular slits front counter tube. instrument characterized exceedingly high resolving power good intensity. Applications have on study Dow Polystyrene Latex three different particle sizes with following diameters: 3400 A, 2640 1340 A. secondary maxima which appear from spheres are very well resolved all azimuths even largest particles.
