摘要: Adult Growth Hormone Deficiency (AGHD) is correlated to many adverse effects on metabolism and increased cardiovascular risk. Pregnancy-associated plasma protein-A (PAPP-A) a protease that promotes IGF-I availability in vascular tissues recent study, PAPP-A levels have been proposed as an early predictor of cardiac events. The aim our study was compare AGHD patients with healthy adult subjects determine if there relationship between serum glucose lipid metabolism. Twenty 20 healthy, age-matched weight-matched persons were chosen for the study. Their weight, height, blood pressure, body mass index (BMI), fat percentage, waist hip circumference, waist-hips ratio assessed. An oral tolerance test performed venous collected from each patient's cubital vein biochemical analysis. Serum level significantly higher than control group [(7.62 ± 1.62 vs. 6.54 1.31) p < 0.05], positively age, BMI, circumference so on. After adjusting waist-hip ratio, 2 h postprandial glucose, triglycerides, BMI (r = 0.728, 0.05) fasting insulin 0.433, 0.05). In multiple step-wise regression analysis, insulin, HOMA-IR independently associated patients. increase abnormal risk atherosclerosis
