摘要: Abstract Stacking reactions of Cp★Ru(C5H5BMe) with metallo-electrophiles have been used to produce the first tripledecked complexes a bridging boratabenzene ligand. Cp★Ru(C5H5BNMe2) (2) is formed from (Cp★RuCl)4 and [Li(TMEDA)]C5H5BNMe2. Reaction 2 methanol gives Cp★Ru(C5H5BOMe) (3), which, on treatment LiMe, produces (1). The ruthenium-electrophile obtained AgCF3SO3 in acetone reacts at room temperature 1 give tripledecker complex [(μ-C5H5BMe)(RuCp★)2]CF2SO3 (4 · CF3SO3). structure 4 CF3SO3 0.5CH2Cl2 has determined by X-ray structural analysis. rhodium-electrophile [Cp★Rh(OCMe2) 3]2+ (52+) readily below 20°C form labile dication [(μ-C5H5 BMe)(RuCp★)(RhCp★)]2+ (62+). Nucleophilic degradation 62+ naphthalene rise transfer reaction fortnation [Cp★Rh(C5H5BMe)]+ (7+) [Cp★Ru(η6-C10H8)+ (9+). Degradation neat 4+, 7+ 52+ 1/1/1 ratio.
