摘要: Abstract: Egyptian clover (Trifolium alexandrinum L.) is a forage legume considered to be of high nutritional values and palatable as cattle feed. Germination the seed affected by water availability environmental stress prevailing there in. Three cultivars T. viz. Bundel Berseem 1 (BB1), 2 (BB2), 3 (BB3) were germinated under varying NaNO3 KNO3, concentration range 0 mM, 25 mM, 50 mM, 75 mM, 100 mM, 150 mM. Our experiment revealed that up 50 mM salt concentration, tested responded in similar way but when started reach 100 mM 150 mM significant differences between germination rates three their respective TI found for radicle emergence, plumule emergence cotyledonary leaf appearance. BB1 was more susceptible other BB2 BB3 comparatively tolerant salinity.
