摘要: This Australian exploratory study investigates the financial considerations retirees experienced before moving into a retirement village. A qualitative content analysis was undertaken on responses of 52 village residents, who were part much larger retirees’ accommodation choices in 2007. The respondents grouped according to income, and results compared across following groups (self-funded retirees, part-pension full-pension retirees). Differences between extended beyond affordability. Both pension more anxious about increasing costs maintenance fees than self-funded importance pensions superannuation also discussed.
