摘要: This paper presents a novel, MPEG-4 compliant animation engine (body player). It has been designed to synthesize virtual human full-body animations in interactive multimedia applications for the web. We believe that player can provide more expressive and interesting interface than use of animated faces only (talking heads). is one first implementations with deformable models (it uses Body Definition Parameters Deformation Tables). Several potential are overviewed. software tool was developed framework IST-INTERFACE European project.
