摘要: The benefits potentially available by replacing conventional hydraulic ABS brake systems with electromechanical brake-by-wire (EMB) are extensive and have been well documented. They include increased functionality, packaging design flexibility, reduced assembly costs, elimination of fluids [1, 2]. A characteristic most is a sequence discontinuous build-hold-dump pressure cycles, whereas EMB will allow continuous control torque. In this paper, the antilock performance an using torque strategy compared against that current state-of-the-art system. comparison was performed half-car model developed in Simulink environment. system characteristics were identified from test data on recent production vehicle simulated logic also validated data. simple dynamics actuator clamp force developed, limited results prototype gain-scheduled PID wheel slip controller for to replace logic. Brake performances Antilock Performance Index (API). indicate has potential perform better than system, provided suitably robust algorithm determining appropriate target available.Copyright © 2005 ASME
