摘要: Incorporating nanocrystals into future electronic or optoelectronic devices will require a means of controlling charge-injection processes and an understanding how the injected charges affect properties nanocrystals. We show that optical colloidal semiconductor nanocrystal quantum dots can be tuned by electrochemical potential. The injection electrons quantum-confined states leads to electrochromic response, including strong, size-tunable, midinfrared absorption corresponding intraband transition, bleach visible interband exciton transitions, quench narrow band-edge photoluminescence.
