摘要: Mangroves are the only trees that capable of thriving in salt water. biochemically unique, producing a wide array novel natural products. In this present study antimicrobial activity Rhizophora mucronata (Rhizophoraceae) and Acanthus ilicifolius (Acanthaceae) plant parts were collected from Kakinada, Godavari-krishna delta other areas Andhra Pradesh dried extracted successively with hexane, chloroform methanol using soxhlet extraction apparatus. The activities organic solvent extracts on various test microorganisms, including bacteria fungi investigated agar well diffusion technique. This study, has to some extent, validated potential mangrove plants against phytopathogens.
