摘要: Cancer is a multistep process involving genetic and epigenetic changes in the somatic genome. Genetic mutations as well environmental factors lead to initiation, promotion, progression of cancer. ends tumor metastasis distant sites, major reason for cancer patient deaths. Recent experimental evidence suggests pivotal role stem cells. A heterogeneous composed different cell types. The cells have capacity both self-renew differentiate sustain tumor. Features are described this review, with an emphasis on that dietary phytochemicals may play chemoprevention. Ingredients diet can inhibit These compounds include curcumin from curry, epigallocatechin gallate green tea, resveratrol red wine, genistein soy, sulforaphane broccoli, many others. Current research findings advocate beneficial effects towards chemoprevention via uptake combination phytochemicals.
