摘要: Psoriatic arthritis (PsA) can have peculiar effects on bone, including mechanisms of bone loss such as erosions, but also formation, ankylosis or periostitis. The aim the present study was to describe prevalence fractures in patients with PsA compared healthy controls and investigate determinants among cases. For both cases controls, radiographs were read identify vertebral (VF), presence femoral neck other nonvertebral obtained from patients' medical history. fragility radiographic readings did not differ between controls. number subjects showing a VF 33 (36%) 36 severe 8% 4% Controlling for covariates logistic model, only variables significant correlation (NVF) disease duration (p=0.02), age (p=0.03), mineral density at (inverse correlation, p=0.04). Fractures should be carefully considered when evaluating global picture patient their contribution "fragility" profile.
