摘要: We determined the effects of exercise on active expiration and end-expiratory lung volume (EELV) during steady-state in 13 healthy subjects. also addressed questions what affects exercise. Exercise EELV were by a He-dilution technique verified changes esophageal pressure. used abdominal pressure-volume loops to determine expiration. was reduced with increasing intensity. significantly even mild heavy decreased an average 0.71 +/- 0.3 liter. Dynamic compliance 30-50%; remained greater than closing volume. Changing resistance airflow (via SF6-O2 or He-O2 breathing) changed peak gastric pressure generation but did not alter EELV; breathing through mouthpiece produced similar supine position. With elicited, same as rest. CO2-driven hyperpnea (7-70 l/min), unchanged from resting levels, whereas exercise, at minute ventilation (VE) values consistently decreased. At VE, treadmill running caused increase tonic reductions either walking cycling. conclude that both stimulus resultant stimulate FRC. This new is preserved face moderate mechanical time constants lung. aids inspiration optimizing diaphragmatic length permitting elastic recoil chest wall.
