Occipital Nerve Release in Patients With Whiplash Trauma and Occipital Neuralgia

摘要: The results of 18 greater occipital nerve release operations in 13 patients were analyzed. All had deep aching pain the area due to a whiplash trauma, and all cases was relieved temporarily by local anesthesia nerve. time from accident operation 6 96 months. (72.2%) reported as good or excellent, although complete relief not attained any patient. It is concluded that neurolysis after injury can give meaningful selected patients.
