Cytotoxic effects and metabolism of benzo[a]pyrene and 7,12-dimethylbenz[a]anthracene in duodenal and ileal epithelial cell cultures.

摘要: Two epithelial cell lines have been established from the duodenum (IEC-17) and ileum (IEC-18) of outbred germfree Crl:CD(SD)GN rats. They a very similar morphology ultrastruture, normal rat diploid karyotype, comparable growth rates, set surface antigens as detected with monoclonal antibodies specific for intestinal proteins in vivo.
