Names for Ixodidae (Acari: Ixodoidea): valid, synonyms, incertae sedis, nomina dubia, nomina nuda, lapsus, incorrect and suppressed names—with notes on confusions and misidentifications

摘要: A major, but not exhaustive, literature revision has been made to compile the names of Ixodidae from Linnaeus present. Names are classified as valid, synonyms, lapsus, incertae sedis, nomina dubia, nuda, incorrect and suppressed. Notes included fo r confusions misidentifications among different tick species. The lists in this study neither aimed be consensual nor focusing stabilize nomenclature, rather part a discussion on species forming potential aid for research taxonomy phylogeny.
