摘要: Novel composites of iron oxide encapsulated in macroporous silica with excellent arsenic adsorption performance have been successfully developed. Macroporous foams large pore sizes approximate to 100 nm and a high volume 1.6 cm(3) g(-1) are chosen as the porous matrix. Electron tomography technique confirms that -Fe2O3 nanoparticles an average particle size 6 spatially well-dispersed anchored on walls at even content 34.8 wt%, rather than forming aggregates inside pores or external surface. The open large-pore structure, loading amount, non-aggregated nature lead increased sites thus capacities both As (V) (III) without pre-treatment (248 320 mg g(-1), respectively). Moreover, can reduce concentration from 2 g L-1. It is also demonstrated be applied household drinking water treatment device, which continuously treat 20 L wastewater containing effluent lower World Health Organization standard.
