摘要: Abstract Thermal stability of a series palladium(II) complexes with N -heteroaromatic bidentate hydrazone ligands was investigated using combination experimental measurements and DFT calculations. All exhibit reversible second-order transition around 333 K, which can be attributed to structural reorganization the ligand molecules. degradation begins in 570–610 K temperature region, an endothermic peak, followed by exothermic peaks DSC. TG show well-defined mass loss corresponding initial degradation, while subsequent processes are poorly separated. calculations suggest that step occurs release Cl, then reacts remaining part complex molecule process. This leads decomposition into four fragments ethyl chloride, carbon dioxide, methyl amine, fragment aromatic group. Mass spectrum suggests creation these most likely corresponds after some coordinate Pd center, whose coordination sphere is left incomplete Cl. measurement 1123 K indicates final product at this palladium.
