摘要: This study reports opportunistic sightings of marine mammals between August 2013 and January 2014 in the Andaman region.  Seven were recorded during this period out which one was a Dugong, is significant considering its small population size India limited data on distribution abundance.  The rest 24 dolphins ( Tursiops sp.).  Four same pod different days at location.  Two occurred regular coral reef monitoring survey other five fishery resource by trawling operations.  These are great significance as there lack studies from Sighting records useful for understanding aggregation site, behaviour, habits habitat residency patterns provide important information conservation mammals.
