摘要: Marine mammals are some of the most interesting organisms on planet earth. Though they have been widely studied over years, much is yet to be known. In India 26 species marine known present out close 130 reported from around world. Lack knowledge distribution and abundance these in Indian waters has biggest hurdle for their conservation. The ever-increasing anthropogenic pressure realm posed a great threat beautiful animals. Proper planning management habitats dedicated research will lead greater understanding magnificent animals thereby help protection Creating awareness educating fishermen can play vital role conservation India.
