摘要: Over the past decade pace of software publication has increased dramatically. Thanks to advent "app markets" distribution on mobile devices is centralized and updates are, by default, fully automated. In this work we study Android smart devices. Specifically, measure rate at which users experience updates, delay between time an app update made available, when it actually installed. Our data shows that, top 12 most popular apps in our dataset, over 10 them are updated more frequently than once every two weeks. On average install for least one 56hrs.
