摘要: Abstract Recent developments in the pathologic assessment of several benign hepatic processes are reviewed, with particular emphasis on distinguishing these from malignant lesions. Liver cell dysplasia remains a controversial lesion, mounting evidence to support its preneoplastic nature. Adenomatous hyperplastic nodules large regenerative cirrhotic livers, and may also have potential. Distinguishing hepatocellular carcinoma by histology become increasingly important, advent more sensitive Imaging techniques. Differentiating features noncancerous biliary epithelium versus well-differentiated cholangiocarcinoma, sclerosing hemangioma epithelioid hemangioendothelioma, angiomyelollpoma clear variant presented discussed.
