Web-Based versus lecture-based instruction in teaching development theories in teacher education

摘要: Web-based learning (WBL) has been widely implemented in various educational settings as a medium but there is doubt about its superiority over text or lecture-based, teacher centered traditional education because of inconclusive findings the related research. The purpose this study was to examine effects WBL on candidates’ content acquisition pedagogical course and their attitudes toward we-based course. Post-test only experimental conducted vocational program Turkey. In group, for three weeks topics: cognitive, moral personality development control lecture-based teaching methods were applied. An achievement test administered both groups at end study. According results, did not show difference. addition, results attitude scale revealed that students average, had positive perceptions web environment, web-based course, instructor, assessment, success This result pointed out though impact topics differ between groups, students’ impression teaching-learning process instructor assessment should be ignored. Within scope study, implied might applied order provide better environment rather than knowledge gain.
