摘要: Observations of the trail Dhajala meteorite, which fell on Jan. 28, 1976, are reported together with results a preliminary examination fragments. The was observed over wide-spread area and had an apparent magnitude -20. fallout highly elliptical. size 300 fragments, found about 50 sq km, increased systematically distance from first impact point. Chemical mineralogical studies indicate that chondrite belongs to H group, possibly type 3 or 4. cosmic ray exposure age is 7 million years. Cosmic density measurements activity levels produced radionuclides suggest pre-atmospheric meteoroid meter.
