摘要: The Dhajala meteorite fragments were found scattered over an elliptical area of approx. 50 sqkm. More than 500 weighing 60 kg have been collected and their geographical coordinates documented. observed number-mass distribution indicates that the overall collection efficiency is probably better 60%. laboratory observations field indicate that: (a) more 95% stones had well developed crust on surfaces. A few shattered impact but most retained at least 70% surface area, (b) the differential number mass follows a single power law relation with slope 1·53±0·12 for between (10–10,000)g, (c) the fragments, geometric as arithmetic, increases exponentially function projected distance along major axis strewnfield, in direction flight, scale length 2·2 km. spatial strongly support Frost’s hypothesis sorting proposed basis other showers.
