摘要: According to the review article on nutritional support in hemodialysis patients by Bossola et al. [1], intradialytic parenteral nutrition (IDPN) seems improve parameters such as serum albumin and body weight, but effects of IDPN long-term survival remain controversial. can provide energy 7–8 kcal/kg/day protein 0.3–0.4 g/kg/day at best, order attain recommended requirements, spontaneous oral intake must reach [0.8 for [20 [2]. Therefore, status often seem uncertain. In some patients, loss muscle mass occurs despite IDPN. We report here our experience use L-carnitine combination with chronic hemodialysis. Our therapy consisted 200 ml 6.1 % amino acids solution, 50 dextrose 100 20 soy lipid solution. Total including ranged from 30 35 kcal/kg/day. These were infused through blood line throughout each entire dialysis session. 6 whose conditions, weight mass, had not improved months, 300 mg was additionally administered min before Body composition bioimpedance method, levels high-sensitivity C-reactive (hs-CRP) evaluated every 3 months 1 year. The added shown Table 1. During alone, fat significantly increased, while decreased. With additive administration, however, increased month 3. Serum 2 decreased 3, did change one. reason inconsistent changes remains unknown. Six after we found a significant decrease hs-CRP level, which persisted year administration. However, its clinical impacts may be modest, because level administration low 0.051 mg/dL. Many studies have indicated that is protein-catabolic procedure, itself cause malnutrition leading lean M.
