Seasonal food habits of the endangered Indochinese leopard Panthera pardus delacouri in a protected area of North West Thailand

摘要: The Indochinese leopard Panthera pardus delacouri has experienced a sharp decline in numbers and distribution, especially Thailand. We have analyzed its diet Om Koi Wildlife Sanctuary of North West Thailand, where only wild prey species were present. Scats collected during the dry-hot dry-cold seasons. Indian muntjac appeared to be staple leopard's diet, particularly season, consumed equally with boar one. occurrence hog deer represents first detection record this endangered after being long extirpated. During poachers slashed burnt portions forest flush game provide space for poppy fields. Muntjacs are sensitive both fires poaching, whereas resilient disturbance, which may explain their alternation diet.
