摘要: Background Recently, several published studies investigating the relationship between protein kinase catalytic subunit alpha-1 gene (PRKAA1) rs13361707 T>C polymorphism and gastric cancer (GC) susceptibility reported controversial results. The purpose of this meta-analysis was to estimate strength relationship. Methods Qualified were identified form a comprehensive search conducted in Embase, Pubmed, Wangfang, China National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI) databases for before February 12, 2018. Pooled odds ratios (ORs) 95% confidence intervals (CIs) used assess PRKAA1 GC risk. Results Fifteen independent case-control studies, which included 14,615 patients 18,143 control subjects, present meta-analysis. overall analysis 15 indicated that significantly increased all genetic models. When stratified carried out by country source controls, similar results found each subgroup, except Hispanic Americans. There no publication bias our study. Omitting study 1 at time sensitivity risk had noticeable influence on pooled OR, reliability False-positive report probability trial sequential demonstrated such confirmed Conclusions reveals has significant with To confirm meta-analysis, well-designed large-scale are warranted investigate relationship, especially among non-Asian ethnicity.
