摘要: The urgency of the environmental debate has renewed interest in application integrated models urban land use and transportation. In United States new legislation inspired by growing awareness such as Intermodal Surface Transportation Efficiency Act 1991 requires that transportation planning must consider interaction between a consistent fashion – it can be done only land-use models. However, this also presents challenges to modelling community. A generation activity-based travel neighborhoodscale policies require more detailed information on household demographics employment characteristics location activities. Moreover, need able predict not economic but impacts policies. Today there exist several operational which have potential respond these challenges. At same time exciting opportunities incorporate theoretical developments methodologies into field. paper reviews current state art using criteria comprehensiveness, overall structure, foundations, modeling techniques, dynamics, data requirements, calibration validation, operationality applicability evaluates their suitability with respect requirements speculates about most promising avenues further improvement diffusion kind model.
