摘要: Abstract Marine bacteria (Bacillus cereus, Bacillus sphericus, Vibrio furnisii, and Brevundimonas vesicularis) were shown to degrade nylon 6 66 in mineral salt medium at 35 °C pH of 7.5 under submerged enrichment conditions with the polymer as sole carbon source. The degradation led formation new functional groups NHCHO, CH3, CONH2, CHO COOH. Maximum was observed cereus for both nylons. Average molecular weight decreased by 42% 31% 7% 2% case 6, respectively, over a period three months. Differential scanning calorimetry showed reduction melting temperature (∼ 1 °C) enthalpies fusion indicating decrease crystallinity. Epi-fluorescent microscope degraded samples surface stripping groves. extent marine organisms better than soil reported literature.
