摘要: This prospective, double blind placebo controlled study is designed to compare the effects of sublingual melatonin versus midazolam for premedication adult patients scheduled undergo cataract surgery under local anaesthesia. Seventy five ASA1&2 ranged from 40-70 yr procedure were studied. Patients classified into 3 groups. Group 1 received midazolam, group 2 and placebo. in 0.5% solution 0.1mg/kg body weight. melatonin0.05mg/kg The control (saline).All drugs given 100 min before block.
