摘要: Exposure to extended periods of sub-Tg temperatures causes physical changes in the molecular structure epoxy resins and epoxy-based materials occur. These aging mechanisms include reduction free volume configuration. As a result, mechanical, thermodynamical, properties are affected ways that can compromise reliability engineering components structures. In this review, epoxies described, influence these on bulk-level response is detailed. Specifically, quasistatic mechanical properties, viscoelasticity, fracture toughness, thermal expansion coefficient, relaxation, enthalpy endothermic peak temperature, fictive moisture/solvent absorption capability reviewed. Also discussed relationships between relaxation functions, crosslink density, composite reinforcement, epoxy/copolymer blending epoxies. Finally, concepts rejuvenation discussed. © 2011 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. J Polym Sci Part B: Phys,
