摘要: Abstract A series of nickel-aluminum mixed hydroxides was prepared by coprecipitation and their structure composition examined X-ray diffraction thermal analysis. The homogeneity the Ni(II) Al(III) cations in brucite-type layers has been verified EXAFS spectroscopy. hydrotalcite-type precipitates were calcined resulting oxides investigated. selective dissolution a Ni-doped alumina phase performed concentrated NaOH solution. significantly contributes to surface area but is suggested play minor role for stability nickel oxide. model obtained from hydrotalcite decomposition proposed involve formation oxide phases strong interaction with partially decomposed precursor or spinal-type at NiO-Al2O3 interface. latter thought be responsible stabilization phase.
