High-accuracy iron-loss measurements on motor stator stacks

摘要: Traditionally iron loss in motor stators is measured using separation, where overall and then other losses like windage, bearings, copper, rotor subtracted. This technique unsatisfactory because the stator typically smaller than subtracted therefore a small error percentage wise one of these leads to large loss. A new described that directly measures offers much improved accuracy. applied series known difficult measurements, effect temperature on loss, compression etc., demonstrate its veracity usefulness quantify effects accurately for first time.
