摘要: Iron losses can account for a significant portion of the total loss in electrical machines. Nevertheless, although analytical and numerical techniques have been developed predicting iron density distribution various types machine under any operating load condition, to date these neglected effect mechanical stress. However, during manufacture many machines, radial compressive stress be imposed on stator lamination stack, by shrink fitting/pressing an outer frame, example. This paper describes technique that has materials, demonstrates its use calculating permanent magnet brushless dc motor.
