Prevalence of Mental Health Problems, Treatment Need, and Barriers to Care among Primary Care-Seeking Spouses of Military Service Members Involved in Iraq and Afghanistan Deployments

摘要: Military spouses must contend with unique issues such as a mobile lifestyle, rules and regulations of military life, frequent family separations including peacekeeping combat deployments. These may have an adverse effect on the health spouses. This study examined mental status, rates care utilization, source care, well barriers stigma utilization among who were seeking in primary clinics. The data show similar problems compared to soldiers. Spouses more likely seek for their less concerned than Services most often received from physicians, rather specialty professionals, which relate lack availability services installations.
