摘要: In the present study we evaluate population structure and potential colonization routes of silverside Chirostoma humboldtianum through approximate Bayesian computations. Six microsatellite loci were amplified in a total 288 individuals from six different locations covering complete geographic distribution species. Additionally, two mitochondrial DNA markers, D loop control region cytochrome b subset 107 individuals. The results found with microsatellites allow recovering well-structured populations that have experienced drastic reduction effective size. On other hand, mtDNA sequences showed moderate phylogeographic shared haplotypes between localities signalsof slight increase Finally, computation analysis performed both datasets suggested west-to-east route for species Central Mexico.
