摘要: Biogeographic patterns of the three main Nearctic groups continental fishes inhabiting river drainages in central Mexico (livebearing goodeids, southern Mexican notropins and species Algansea, last two representing independent lineages cyprinids) were obtained compared by following approaches: an estimate divergence times using a well-defined biogeographic method. Three concordant events identified among groups, showing some evidence partially congruent evolutionary history. The analysed show at least colonization into Mexico: western routes, followed Goodeinae members early Plateau route notropins. most recent common ancestor (MRCA) each freshwater fish diversified Late Miocene. lack strong congruence their patterns, differences richness clades might be for distinct diversification.
