摘要: Kidney development requires reciprocal interactions between the ureteric bud and metanephrogenic mesenchyme. Whereas survival of mesenchyme nephrons from mesenchymal cells depends on signals invading bud, growth This codependency makes it difficult to identify molecules expressed by that regulate growth. To determine how mesenchyme, we previously isolated cell lines (UB cells). These secrete soluble factors which rescue apoptosis. We now report four heparin binding mediate this activity. One these is basic fibroblast factor (bFGF), synthesized when penetrating bFGF rescues three types progenitors found in mesenchyme: precursors tubular epithelia, capillaries, bud. data suggest regulates number epithelia vascular generate secreting other factors.
