摘要: In this paper, we present a novel method for 3D segmentation of the nerve channels in human mandible that contain nervus alveolaris inferior. The technique utilizes geodesic active surfaces are implemented with level sets. consists two steps: (i) After defining points, which denote entry and exit channel, connecting path minimal action inside channel is calculated. This calculation driven by gray values proximity to defined points (ii) Using as an initial configuration, surface evolves until inner borders reached. Since configuration located very close propagation term not necessary model.
