摘要: Practical skill training courses are an increasingly popular method of teaching surgical skills. Few data available from instructional indicating how successful they at imparting practical skills to those individuals who attend them. We aimed identify the benefits gained by trainee surgeons attending a 5-day microsurgical course. A global scoring system was devised objectively assess level employed trainees complete arterial microvascular anastamosis. Vessel patency, anastamotic construct, and care tissue in surrounding operative field were taken into account. Postoperative viability physiological vessel function following anastamosis also investigated. The majority (60%) exhibited increase their during remaining candidates remained static or deteriorated. Attendance this workshop resulted improvement most trainees. In-course assessment would allow identification requiring further refinement.
