摘要: The use of anabolic-androgenic steroids is epidemic in the sporting world, and recent recognition their pervasive by recreational adolescent athletes has made abuse these drugs a public health concern. A critical review literature supports doctrine that can improve muscular performance if certain criteria are met, but some risks associated with may be irreversible, life-threatening. Furthermore, polydrug abuse, restrictive diets, dehydrating practices potentiate weight training steroid use. Recent investigations nutritional alternatives to promising. To help lure from drug pursuit new areas research education should priorities campaign against anabolic steroids.
