摘要: We report the first experimental observation of excitation 4p2P3/2, 1/2 resonance states Ca II (located at 74 720.4 and 497.5 cm−1 above ground state I) following pulsed-laser pumping 4s21SO−4s4p3P1 intercombination transition I (Eex = 15 210 cm−1). Large scale collisional transfer energy between laser-excited atoms is believed to be responsible for this. This possibly because sufficient time available (τrad 4s4p3P1 approximately 350 µs) collisions build such a high level excitation. Some interesting additional features fluorescence spectra laser-pumped vapor, as temperature dependence intensities evolution in some selected states, are also presented.
