摘要: Cell surface investigations for the yeast strains LCC1209 (Flol phenotype), LCC125 (NewFlo and LCC1240, a nonflocculent variant of LCC1209, are reported. The were examined their degree flocculation, hydrophobicity, charge. zymolectin density was quantitated with fluorescent avidinfluorescein isothiocyanate probe as well radio-labeled tritiated-mannose probe. Additionally, fluorescence microscopy employed to examine cell walls two flocculent strains. showed different charges, apparent densities. hydrophobicity correlated flocculation significantly (r = 0.684, P < 0.001). It found that 82 75% variations in (n 48) can be explained by level affinity Flol NewFlo strains, respectively.
