摘要: TROPONIN is the protein complex that controls onset of muscular contraction1–3. It has three subunits4: troponin T (Tn-T), I (Tn-I) and C (Tn-C). The bound at regular intervals along thin filaments, which are composed a double helix actin monomers tropomyosin, runs grooves helix5–7. Each tropomyosin molecule spans seven one to each through Tn-T (refs 3 6–8). Tn-I binds Tn-C both 3, 4 6). In absence Ca, inhibit contraction by inhibiting interaction myosin but in presence inhibition reversed occurs3. We have been interested crystallising hope an eventual crystal structure determination will be helpful understanding how Ca binding muscle contraction. Here we report occurrence crystalline form this protein.
