摘要: The complete amino acid sequence of rabbit skeletal muscle troponin C (TnC) was determined from studies on overlapping peptides isolated cyanogen bromide and tryptic digests. TnC found to be a single polypeptide chain 159 residues, including 2 residues tyrosine 1 each cysteine, histidine, proline. end is acetylated, the calculated net charge at pH 7.0 -29, molecular weight 17,965. There no evidence for heterogeneity in sequence. previously proposed four apparent Ca2+ binding sites are located 27 38, 63 74, 103 114, 139 150.
