摘要: This study was initiated in response to perceived behavior problems of undergraduate law school students at a research university Israel. It found that increasing numbers stopped attending classes on regular basis, were not reading assigned materials, avoided participating discussions, studied only superficially for exams, and reluctant theory, preferring concentrate practice. Interviews questionnaires completed by representative sample faculty attempted identify similarities differences between professors' students' thinking about perceptions goals teaching, the responsibility student learning, teaching/learning/student assessment situation. The identified major gaps concerning all aspects academic environment. A dividing issue is emphasis theory teaching as opposed wish more practical orientation. Views also diverge who responsible failure learn. While perceive themselves satisfactory teachers, are highly critical faculty's with criticizing information-transmission approach despite preference student-centered These findings compared similar observations made U.S. school.
